In Durham, Hamsterley Forest’s 2,000 hectares are filled with exhilarating red and black grade mountain bike trails like the world-class skills ‘Loop’ and downhill tracks with hair-raising drop-offs and jumps. Perfect for extreme mountain biking.

Kielder Water and Forest Park is internationally renowned for its 100s of kilometres of routes including England’s highest: the spectacular red-grade Deadwater route cresting the 1900-foot summit of Deadwater Fell, with breathtaking 360° coast-to-coast views on a clear day.
